Winter Ball '08

So, I went to it. Yes, I did.

Okay, quick summary.

Got to Fuzio's at around 6:30. Everybody else in our party showed up within 6:45-8:15. We ordered food @ around 8:20, got it at 8:40, quickly ate and skipped dessert, and walked about a half-block to the Bentley Reserve. Made it with six minutes to spare.

Dance lasted from then until midnight. Bro got to picking me, Thomas C., Pamela (cousin), and Richard up, and I got home and slept at around 1:40.

Now for the break-down

Food was pretty good, but after a life of eating at Chinese restaurants, the portion was way too small compared to the price. But hey, how the hell am I supposed to carry the leftovers?

Anyways, going stag wasn't as bad as its cracked up to be. Sure, plenty of other people got dates, but I really didn't give a damn. I figure, as long as I can make more money later on in life or get to do more exciting things, more power to me.

Well, the dj kinda sucked for the dance. It was also partly SBC's fault for not asking what kind of music was going to be played. I mean, HOLY SHIT, three fuckin'straight hours of hip-hop and rap can wear down my enjoyment quickly. The two Michael Jackson songs and the four slow songs helped to alleviate it, but my blood oath to stay away from freaking limited my dancing-if you could call freaking "dancing".

Well, there was one thing I'll elaborate on more specifically than anything else. So, T.C. brought his date, Ka-Ching (K.C.). Basically, since I offered TC a ride, I was pretty much sucked into it. Funny thing is, he took the bus to the place and I spent it all for crap. Anyways, KC dragged her friend along, as a stag, or a "doe" if you want to be technically correct.

Anyways, I got to know her a bit, and later on we danced for two slow songs. First one I was draggin TC to dance with KC, and after they moved into the crowd, I asked her to dance. Second time, TC needed a wingman, so I covered him. It was good.

Still debating whether to just ask her to Brigade Ball, or take my time and wait till Junior Prom. Gotta get some more input from others first.
